HELP and occupational therapists share the same mission: Make a difference by helping people improve their quality of life and independence.
“We sincerely thank all our occupational therapist partners who recommend our equipment, supplies and services to those in need,” said Tom Neal, HELP’s executive director. “We love it when occupational therapists stop by themselves to check out our inventory. We’re eager to show them around and help them help others.”
Occupational therapists treat injured, ill or disabled patients through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. They help patients develop, recover, improve and maintain skills needed for daily living and working, says Cornerstone VNA.
During April, HELP joins other organizations, patients and healthcare professionals worldwide in celebrating and recognizing Occupational Therapy Month.
